Elsevier – a publishing house, has decided to maintain the open publishing programme without any fees for publishing by authors (program A).
Scope of the license, article pool and funding conditions in 2022 are not estabilished by the Ministry yet. The publishing house has ensured no need for refinancing any articles published under the programme by authors and institutions with which authors are affiliated, even if the new national grant agreement won’t be signed.
Programme A is being offered only for articles sent for a review in 2022 and accepted for publication. Articles that have been sent for a review in 2021 and accepted in 2022 are allowed to be published in open mode at the author’s cost  with a discount (programme B). Other rules of Elsevier programmes remain unchanged for now.
